How To Grow Spinach

Growing spinach can be the easiest thing to make your way to kitchen gardening. Spinach is quick to grow and mature. Eating spinach recipes is more healthy as well as it has many nutrients that can protect our body from diseases.

 

So growing spinach in your kitchen garden can be considered a must do. Its seeds will be easily available at the market or seed shop and spinach can be grown all around the year. Spinach can handle partial shade and hence you can also consider growing spinach in your balcony that gets few hours of sunlight a day.

You can grow spinach in a poting mix or in soil. Spinach is best grown in trays, that is 6 inch deep best suited for growing spinach. You may even consider using your old pet bottles to grow spinach.

 

sow you spinach seed 1/2 inch deep and cover with a fine vermiculture. It may take 5-6 days to show the first sprout.

 

In a month time from date of sowing you may be blessed with a good harvest provided you given a minimum care to your crop.
